

Every month, Resorts World Genting prepares an exciting line-up of performers to look forward to at the Arena of Stars, and this August in no different. In fact, there are a whopping total of SEVEN shows including international performers and one specially for the kids! Read on to find out more. It’s all happening at the Arena of Stars, Malaysia’s preferred concert and event venue.
The pioneering Taiwanese Mandopop artist has left a lasting impact across Chinese-speaking regions with her heartfelt songwriting and dynamic stage presence. With a career of nearly three decades, she has earned the moniker “Queen of a Thousand Stages”, as the first Chinese singer to exceed 1,000 live performances. After undergoing months of vocal training, physical conditioning, and artistic development, Pan returns to showcase her beloved hits including “I Want a Home” (我想有个家), “I Once Loved You Deeply” (我曾用心爱着你), “Don’t Go, Don’t Go” (不要走不要走), “Unmeltable Ice” (拒绝融化的冰), and “Endless Love” (写不完的爱).

The celebrated Taiwanese singer, songwriter, and TV host is renowned for his rich baritone and emotional delivery in both Hokkien-pop and Mandopop. He’s also a popular YouTuber, known for his self-run channel Big Bull Compares Everything” (大牛比较揽) which boasts 143k subscribers and 18.7 million views as of the time of writing. Known for his beloved tracks like “Endless Night” (茫茫到深更), “A Man’s Sweat” (男人的汗), and “A Wordless Ending” (無言的結局), fans can also look forward to his new music including singles like “Ba Rui” (巴蕊) in 2024, and festive hit “Fortune God Comes to My Home” (财神到我家) just realised in early 2025.

Three brilliant young artists will come together to deliver a captivating 40-minute solo set each for a night of vocal powerhouse performances.
First up is Xiao Aqi, Chinese singer and internet livestreamer from Chongqing who rose to fame in 2019 after her emotional street performance went viral, attracting over 60 million views and millions of fans on short-video platforms. Since then, she’s released multiple hit singles like Once Said”(《从前说》)、“Tavern”(《酒家》)and amassed tens of millions of followers across platforms like Douyin and YY Live.
Next up is Wu Dailin, a Chinese pop singer-songwriter best known for his expressive vocals through solo singles like “Darlin” (月亮) and “In the Mist.”
Finally, Wang Erlang first gained popularity through short-video platforms like Kwai and Douyin, after previously owning a fried chicken shop in her early 20s. Her 2019 single “Like a Fish” (像鱼) earned major recognition, winning a Tencent Music Entertainment Award (TMEA) as one of the Top Ten Golden Melody Songs of the year.

Now, after 40 years, these three iconic voices are reuniting for the first time as the "Golden Triangle" to present a meaningful and unforgettable performance.
