Sam Hui Love You Most - Live in Resorts World Genting Concert 2026

Sam Hui is often hailed as the godfather of Cantopop, and for good reason—he practically gave the genre its modern voice in the 1970s by swapping traditional, formal lyrics for cheeky, relatable Cantonese storytelling. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Hui first rose to fame with the band Lotus before going solo and turning everyday struggles—work, money, city life—into wildly catchy hits that still resonate today. This includes "半斤八兩" (Ban Jin Ba Liang), "浪子心聲" (Lang Zi Xin Sheng), "滄海一聲笑" (Cang Hai Yi Sheng Xiao), "沉默是金" (Chen Mo Shi Jin), and "鐵塔凌雲" (Tit Ta Ling Wan). Beyond music, he also became a film star, famously teaming up with his brothers in comedy classics that helped define Hong Kong pop culture. Decades on, his songs remain sing-along staples, and his laid-back charisma continues to charm fans across generations.

The concert will feature brand-new musical arrangements and stage design.

Panda Hsiung 2026 Concert World Tour in Malaysia

Panda Hsiung (熊天平) is best known for his heartfelt ballads and poetic songwriting that helped define Mandopop’s emotional core in the late ’90s. After debuting with Ai Qing Duo Nao He, he quickly gained widespread recognition with hits like “Xue Hou Niao” (Snow Bird), a melancholic anthem that became his signature and remains a karaoke favourite to this day. What set Panda apart was his ability to blend classical influences—he trained in music composition—with deeply personal lyrics, often exploring themes of love, longing, faith, and introspection. Joining him will be special guest Marina (杨洋), a powerful singer-songwriter who has collaborated with Hollywood productions in the United States. Her duets and collaborations with Panda Hsiung promise to add rich layers to the evening to create unforgettable musical moments for the audience.

Date: 11 April 2206 (Saturday)
