In 1965, Resorts World Genting (then known as Genting Highlands Resort), opened its doors. Starting from humble beginnings, it would go on to become a resort that would welcome visitors from all over the world. Over the years, its accomplishments have been endless: a single hotel has expanded to seven (including the First World Hotel holding the Guinness World Record as the largest hotel in the world by room count), opened multiple shopping malls, and welcomed superstars at the Arena of Stars.
