There’s drama unfolding at Resorts World Genting, but not in the way you’d think: we recently debuted our very first original short drama,
"The Resort Whiz" (酒店智多).

What’s the story?

Set inside our five-star RW Hotel, the 60-episode vertical drama follows a spirited team of employees navigating workplace chaos, unexpected guests and plenty of romance and humour along the way.

The drama was filmed entirely on our grounds, from RW Hotel to Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, Eufloria Gardens and Sculpture Park, and the Genting Guest Xperience Centre; the series brings familiar corners of the resort to life in a way our guests have never seen before. It may also show you spots that guests usually don’t get a glimpse of.

The cast brings together Hong Kong actor Lok Yi, known for his work on TVB, together with homegrown Malaysian talents Maq Lai, Joey, Ahlina, Moontail, YC and Alya, bringing together a cast of established performers and rising digital creators. Listen out for our original theme song, "Only Want to Be with You, at Resorts World Genting," performed by Chloe Yuz, a rising Malaysian singer-songwriter known for her sweet vocals and original music. The drama is in Mandarin, but it also comes with Malay subtitles.
