Legendary Hong Kong pop group, Grasshopper (草蜢) is set to make a powerful comeback in Malaysia this December with their highly anticipated “Re: GRASSHOPPER Concert Tour 2025”. 

For the past 40 years since their debut, Grasshopper has been the soundtrack to countless fans’ lives. The “Re” in Re: GRASSHOPPER is more than a title, it symbolizes the group’s resilience and rebirth. Calvin Choy (蔡一智) explains: “It’s about Recovery, Restarting, Reunion, and Reorchestration. Post Remus’ recovery, we are restarting this journey, reuniting with fans across Asia, and rearranging our classics to bring a brand-new experience.” 

The concert will feature Grasshopper’s signature mega-hits, including “Love Trap (失恋阵线联盟)”, “Half a Heart (半点心)”, “Forget Love Samba (忘情森巴舞)”, and “Baby, I’m Sorry (宝贝对不起)”. Fans can also look forward to dynamic dance moves, audience interactions and reimagined renditions of their greatest songs, alongside fresh tracks like “Old but Spicy (老的辣)”, a spirited new anthem written by Remus that celebrates resilience, growth and the fire that never fades with age.  

When asked about restarting the tour, the trio playfully likened it to sharing a Hong Kong hotpot:
“Once you’ve had it, you’ll always want it again, the second time is bound to feel different,” said Calvin with a grin. Edmund So (蘇志威) chimed in, “And this time, there are new dishes!” To which Remus added, “And extra spice, I wrote the new song ‘Old but Spicy,’ because just like ginger, the older it gets, the stronger the flavour.” 

With their trademark charisma, electrifying stage presence and enduring legacy, Grasshopper promises a spectacular evening that bridges generations. Fans can expect a night of nostalgia, joy and unity, and a reminder of why Grasshopper remains one of the most beloved and enduring Mandopop groups for the past 40 years.

  2. A standard child ticket rate is RM50. Children must be shorter than 95cm to be eligible for a child ticket priced at RM50 without a seat, while children taller than 95cm must purchase tickets according to the published rates.
  3. Each ticket includes admission for one (01) person and is applicable across all ages, including children and above 12 months infants.
  4. No admission for infants under 12 months. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
  5. The discounted rates published above are only available for a stipulated number of tickets and are subject to change without prior notice.
  6. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
  7. Tickets sold are NOT refundable or exchangeable.
  8. The Organiser shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage to the tickets sold.
  9. No third-party ticket collection is allowed unless an Authorisation Letter, a photocopy of the credit card that made the payment and the credit card holder's NRIC/ passport is issued by the Purchaser and presented upon ticket collection on the event day. Failing to produce any of these documents, the organiser reserves the right not to release the ticket(s).
  10. The resale of tickets at the same or any price in excess of the initial purchase price is prohibited. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel tickets not purchased from rwgenting.com or other authorised points of sale listed on Resorts World Genting’s website only.
  11. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold or used by third parties in connection with other promotions without a refund, and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
