Grab your Merdeka Explorer Passport and embark on a journey of discovery through five thematic stations, each offering fun games, hands-on challenges, and creative surprises. From upcycled art to nature-friendly crafts, every stop is designed to spark imagination, celebrate Malaysia’s rich cultural tapestry, and inspire a more beautiful and sustainable future.

How to get the Merdeka Explorer Passport: 

  • Purchase the “Merdeka Explorer Passport” from the Fun & Activities counter at the Hotel Lobby.
  • Price: RM37 per pax (RM68 for 2 pax) Inclusion (per pax):
    1. Passport Card  
    2. Explorer pack freebies
    3. Kids Craft Activities
  • After paying for the activity, the game will start whenever the guests are ready.
  • How it Works:
    1. Visitors get their passport card from the registration booth.
    2. Visit 5 unique stations and complete simple tasks and mini-games.
    3. Collect stamps at each station.
    4. Redeem the Explorer Pack freebies once all stamps are collected!

Station 1

National Flower

Snap a patriotic pic with our larger-than-life Bunga Raya. Malaysia’s national flower and a symbol of unity! Made with weather-friendly, reusable materials, this vibrant photo op celebrates both our nation’s spirit and Awana’s green heart.

Station 2

Colours of Malaysia 

Step into a tapestry of culture! Surrounded by vibrant batik cubes, tropical greens, and charming local props, this photo op celebrates Malaysia’s rich heritage and natural beauty all in one stylish shot.

Station 3

Bin It Right!

Let’s clean up Malaysia the fun way! Kids (and grown-ups too!) can test their eco-smarts in this hands-on game that teaches how to sort recyclables correctly using fun props and repurposed bins, all built with sustainability in mind.

Mini Game: “Sort It Right!” Match the recyclable material to the right bin.

Station 4

Hands of Unity

Learn and get inspired by the meaning of the Malaysia Madani logo, a colourful installation made from recycled bottle caps and egg trays. Proving that when we come together, even waste can become something wonderful.

Mini Activity: “Place Your Hand Here!” Trace your hand, decorate it, and hang it proudly.

Station 5

Proudly Malaysian – Negeri-ku Wall

Celebrate our united Malaysia by exploring all 13 states and 3 federal territories in one colourful, interactive display! Snap a photo with “SAYA ANAK MALAYSIA” placards and uncover the diversity that makes us proudly Malaysian.

Mini Game: “Flag & Food Match-Up!” Match each state’s flag and famous food to its rightful place on the map.
