Wawa, born in 1964, is a Taiwanese rock icon in the pop music scene. As the lead vocalist of the Chyi Chin Choir formed in 1981, she represents the transition from campus folk songs to contemporary pop. Their albums include "Just Tonight" (1982), "Stranger" (1983), and "Farewell at 20" (1984).

Wawa’s music spans rock, ballads, and children's songs, showcasing her versatile talent. Apart from the choir, her solo hits like "Across the Ocean to See You," "Why Dream of Him," and "Heavy Rain" solidified her position as a rock diva in Taiwan.
