Tentang Anugerah Biasiswa Genting Malaysia

Anugerah Biasiswa Genting Malaysia (GENM Scholarship) menyediakan peluang keemasan kepada rakyat Malaysia yang layak untuk melanjutkan pelajaran mereka di dalam atau luar negara. Kami menawarkan bantuan kewangan kepada pelajar yang telah mencapai kecemerlangan akademik dan berkepemimpinan untuk menjalani pengajian sarjana muda mereka. Biasiswa ini akan membantu penerima yang layak untuk membina asas yang kukuh bagi masa depan mereka dalam bidang berikut:

  • Pengurusan Hospitaliti   
  • Seni Kulinari Pengurusan Hotel & Resort Antarabangsa    
  • Pengurusan Taman dan Rekreasi  
  • Pengurusan Acara  Ekonomi / Sains Aktuari / MORSE       
  • Pemasaran / Perniagaan / Keusahawanan  
  • Kejuruteraan (Elektrikal, Elektronik, Mekanikal, Mekatronik)     
  • Teknologi Maklumat    
  • Multimedia

Semua pemohon perlu menyediakan ringkasan PowerPoint 1 halaman untuk membantu kami memahami siapa anda dan mengapa anda layak menerima biasiswa ini.

Upon joining the company for less than a year, I was fortunate enough to be one of the two scholars who were sent to Germany for a technical inspection and field trip. Applying for the Genting Malaysia scholarship was far more of a dream than a reality for me. It is truly amazing that I have been awarded the scholarship and I am extremely grateful up to this very day. The assessment day was an interesting day as I met many other like-minded and inspired youths. On top of that, I had the privilege of interacting with some of the management who were positive-minded, friendly and fun-loving. This makes me look forward to working at Genting Malaysia in the future.

My ambition is to become an Accountant. However, my family is not able to support my tertiary education due to health issues after I completed my STPM. To continue my education was a dream as I had to start working to earn an income to support my family. When I was informed that my application for Genting Malaysia Scholarship was granted, I was so delighted. I felt very grateful that not only I can continue my studies, but I can further pursue my ambition – to be an Accountant.

Genting Malaysia, I want to say a humongous thank you for choosing me as the recipient of Genting Malaysia Scholarship. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity. This scholarship would not only be a financial blessing, but also increase my overall confidence. Knowing I have support behind my academic provokes more than just appreciation, rather, it encourages me to strive to be the best I can be in all areas of my life. Life always throws curveballs but this award has become a reminder that I'm capable of overcoming challenges and achieving greatness. I’d graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Actuarial Science from University of Southampton and I am now working as a business analyst with Genting Malaysia.

Lastly, I would recommend this scholarship to any eligible student continuing on to tertiary study because Genting Malaysia provides countless opportunities and support.
